If you want to try something totally different on you vacation to Maui this year, try Rappelling down a Maui Waterfall into a rain-forest canyon! Voted as one of the best things to do on Maui, this adventurous activity is safe for the environment and all participants involved. Rappel Maui is owned and operated by one of the world’s renowned canyoneering trios. This is the first and of course the best rappelling company in Hawaii.
Journey through a privately owned Maui valley, and become a pro at rappelling down the waterfalls! It is safe, fun and thrilling! This activity is one of the most unique vacation experiences. You will learn how to walk and rappel down lava rock framed waterfalls, and delight in the secret rain-forest treasures below where you can swim in two hidden fresh water swimming pools.
You meet at the park & ride or they will pick you up at your hotel or condo for a small additional fee. The van ride out to the Garden of Eden is about 90 minutes along the beautiful north shore of Maui. At this lush garden area you will be enchanted by the beauty of Hawaii’s flora and fauna.
Your guides will give you detailed instructions as you get decked out in professional canyoneering equipment. The first rappel is down a dry hillside. That rappel is a trial run and gives you a feel for the rope and how you place your feet to descend. After this rappel you will be ready to stand at the top of a 50 foot waterfall and glide down like a pro! And then on to the next waterfall! It is so thrilling!
After hiking out of the canyon you are ready for a scrumptious meal overlooking your last waterfall! Yummy sandwiches, cookies and drinks are waiting for you.
