The Maui Jazz Society will be presenting their annual
The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk
on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd.
This event is the Maui Jazz Society’s scholarship fundraiser celebrating America’s original musical art forms, Jazz and Blues. Bill Burton, president of the Maui Jazz Society, said, “We’re very excited about this event. We’ve been endorsed by the LahainaTown Action Committee and Lahaina Historical Foundation, The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk also celebrates the beauty and excitement of Front Street and the wide variety of restaurants, clubs, shops and vendors who make up the unique character of the former capital of Hawaii.”
The featured headliners for the event will be Melveen Leed, Mel Martin, Rock Hendricks, Fulton Tashombe, and the RE Metoyer Blues, Rock & Soul Revue. The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walktalent roster will be presented
at various venues along Front Street. Participating restaurants are Captain Jacks, Hard Rock Café, Kimo’s, Longhi’s, Royal Lahaina Resort, and Pioneer Inn.
