Celebrate Maui’s art, music and local culture at Maui Friday Town Parties! Developed by Maui County’s Office of Economic Development, these FREE weekly events are a wonderful way for Maui’s diverse locales to showcase their hidden gems and talents, and engage residents and visitors in a community minded, family friendly atmosphere. These events are always a great start to the weekend, invoking the aloha spirit with good times, great food, artistic expression, and new inspiration!

First Friday’s are in Wailuku

Wailuku First Friday’s are held on the historic Market Street in this Central Maui locale. This street party is always a good time with local vendors, keiki activities, live music, stage performances, community yoga classes, and more! This Maui First Friday event is a great way to visit the historic Town of Wailuku, a commercial center that is rich in local history, the seat of Maui’s government, and full of locally owned businesses and boutiques.

Second Friday’s are in Lahaina

Lahaina’s Second Friday’s generally take place on or around Front Street, with parades that sometimes continue on to Campbell Park. West Maui’s Second Fridays in Lahaina is a great way for visitors to rub elbows with the residents enjoying live music, local foods, keiki activities, art gallery events, drink and food specials at local restaurants, boutique discounts, and the Lahaina Fine Art’s Societies weekly art fair under the Banyon Tree.

Third Friday’s are in Makawao

Makawao Third Friday’s are located Upcountry in the historic Makawao Town. Makawao is well known in Hawaii for its paniolo-style, annual rodeos, country fairs, 4th of July parades, and a wonderful selection of boutiques, wellness practices, art galleries and restaurants. Makawao Third Fridays are a great opportunity to explore the Upcountry vibe, a cooler climate, delicious food vendors, gift shops, and some more of Maui’s  “eclectic” nature.

Fourth Friday’s are in Kihei

Kihei Fourth Friday’s are located in South Maui in and around the Azeka Shopping Center, known as the “heart and soul of Kihei.” The Kihei Friday parties are always fabulous with some of the best local musicians on Maui, a Keiki Zone with games and face painting, a diverse and delicious selection of food from Maui restaurants and food trucks, gift and clothing vendors, and individual local business specials.
