Aloha, this blog post is geared to those looking for the best restaurants on Maui…

I was at Azeka Shopping Center recently and could not help but notice all the restaurants!

Whether you’re looking for Burgers & Beers, some of the best Fish Tacos on Maui, Sushi, Mexican food, Thai, Italian… Azeka’s has all that and more!

Coconut’s is always on the top of Yelp and TripAdvisor for Fish Tacos! They have an awesome Mango Salsa, yumm…

Like Mexican food? Try Amigos or Roasted Chile’s for Margaritas and Nachos to Fajitas, Tamales, Chicken Tortilla Soup…

Start your morning at the Coffee Store with some Kona Coffee or try a cup of  our “Maui Grown Coffee”, you can also purchase the beans for gifts. Head over to Nalu’s or Amigos for breakfast with a Mimosa or Bloody Mary; Peggy Sue’s right next door is also open for breakfast, although Peggy Sue’s is primarily known as a 50’s style Diner with Burgers and Milk Shakes later in the day…

Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill has a huge screen for watching all the popular Sports channels and is 1 of the few bars on Maui that has a Dance floor with DJ or Live Music starting at 9 PM (Sundays at 6 PM with Gina Martinelli).

Indulge your sweet tooth at Maui Pie, Ono Gelato or at the cute little Ice Cream & Shave Ice Shack.

Diners looking to be health conscious and also indulge in a cocktail can check out Nalu’s open air Restaurant; with live music nightly from 7:30 to 9:30, my favorite evenings are Tuesdays and Wednesdays listening to Kawika…

The most talked-about restaurant in Kihei this month is the new Fork and Salad! I was reading on their FB page that Fork & Salad supports over 25 local farms and suppliers, many of them Organic  and GMO free. In the first 2 weeks of business Fork and Salad sold:

“1400 pounds of local greens (kale, arugula, romaine, spinach, mixed greens, super-blend)
•110 gallons of dressing
•275 pounds of fresh local tuna
•60 pounds of Tamashiro tofu
•144 full sheet pans of Maui Pasta Co. Focaccia
•960 pounds of organic chicken breast
•4 dozen Pono pies
•20 gallons of Maui Cattle beef stew
•40 gallons of Ni’ihau lamb chili
•64 gallons of tomato bisque
•38 FIVE gallon kegs of Kampuchea!!!
•AND literally — more than a TON of fresh local fruits and vegetables, like 2000 pounds worth!!!  “

Italian lovers should definitely try Antonio’s and for Sushi there is Sushi Paradise (authentic 1-man ‘show’, very popular!) or try the newer Miso Phat Sushi as you can just walk in vs needing a reservation.

Looking for Gluten Free? (besides a good salad) try the Brick Oven.

Plus a few more restaurants like Home Maid Bakery…

Azeka’s also hosts every 4th Friday Town Party on Maui, with Bands and lots of Food Trucks, family fun for everyone. The main reason Fork & Salad got a Liquor License is so they can have a Beer Garden and Live Music Events for 4th Friday Kihei.

While we have some great Restaurants on Maui, nothing beats a sunset dinner on the Ocean.  Maui Sights and Treasures/ Maui Snorkel Store sells Dinner Cruises on Maui from $59.95-$189. per person. Give us a call if you need a restaurant reservation or simply have a question about Maui.

I hope you enjoyed our blog on restaurants on Maui.  The team here at Maui Sights & Treasures can help answer most questions.  Stop by our Maui Snorkel Store at Sugar Beach Resort for free coupons to many of Maui’s best Restaurants.  From Lahaina to Kihei…
