Once onboard, relax on the comfortable cushions & bean bag on the trampoline nets, sit on the couch beneath the mast or join the Captain in the VIP lounge sky bridge with panoramic views! It is a great place to watch for Turtles, Dolphins and the Humpback Whales.
Looking for some shade, there is a large and comfortable cabin inside with fabulous Ocean views.
The Hula Girl hires only the best Chefs on Maui, Hawaii! Their current Chef the day these photos were taken also works at Merriman’s in Kapalua. All the Entrees are excellent, Fish preparations do change daily. Check out their Menu under our “What to Bring/Food” tab above
There are several choices for both breakfast and Lunch. You will be expected to choose your lunch entree early so the Chef may begin the preparation; however, you choose when the Chef will ‘fire it up”. With a full galley on board, your meal will be prepared for you whenever you wish. We highly recommend the fresh fish entree. The fresh Fish Tacos looked good as well, in fact, all of the Entree’s I saw coming out of the Galley looked great!
You will have plenty of time for snorkeling and scuba diving. Whether you are a certified diver or wanting to try diving for the first time, you can upgrade to Scuba on the Hula Girl Snorkel Tour.
When you are done having fun in the warm Pacific Ocean, there are three hot showers on board. Hula Girl Snorkel Tour boasts a large, very clean women’s changing and powder room with vanity, there is plenty of room to change clothes and freshen up should you desire.
Whether you choose to Snorkel or Scuba Dive, the platforms on the stern (back of the boat) provide easy water entry with an easy gear up area. There is also a large ladder in front to make getting into/out of the Ocean easier. Click on the Photos Tab for more photos of the inside of Hula Girl.
The Hula Girl Snorkel and Scuba Cruise is one of Maui’s best and most luxurious. From the catamaran itself to the friendly and professional crew to the onboard galley and professional Chef! Everything is top notch. If you are out to impress, the Hula Girl is an excellent choice.

The Hula Girl Snorkel Tour is an awesome experience! However, we do not think it is a good choice for Babies ages 0-2 or the “more frail” of us, as the boatloads guests from Ka’anapali Beach. There may be high Surf/Waves at times.
There are 2 crew members at the bottom of the stairs to help you on board.
Hula Girl aims for Honolua Bay Marine Sanctuary every, however depending on weather conditions they may go to the sunken pier at Mala (some of the best Scuba diving here!) to or down to Olowalu to see the large Hawaiian Sea Turtles and one of Maui’s most healthiest Coral Reefs teaming with tropical Fish!
