While on the Island of Maui don’t forget to visit the Maui Brewing Company! If you are a fan of Craft Beers or just Beer in general make your way to the Maui Brewing Company in Kihei or the Brewpub in Kahana! You will not be disappointed!
The Maui Brewing Company has been in business for over 10 years. They started with their first small craft brewery and restaurant in Kahana and then opened their new, large brewing company in Kihei. Maui Brewing Company actually expanded their new production facility in Kihei, which increased capacity to nearly 100,000 barrels; soon to produce craft sodas, ciders, and meads.
Their facility in Kihei is really awesome! I have been there quite a few times. Check out their Happy Hour … every day from 3-6pm. You can enjoy $1 off their many craft beers on tap and listen to some great musicians!! Wednesday; wear one of their logo shirts or hats and enjoy $4 house beers all day!! They are open 11am to 10pm daily. They do not have a restaurant on the property yet, but outside the facility is a rotating schedule of Maui’s most famous Food Trucks. All of them yummy!
“Behind their beer is a lot of local love, including more than 20 ingredients sourced from the islands.” There are so, so many beers to choose from: Pineapple Mania, Bikini Blond, Coconut Hiwa Porter, Big Swell IPA. I could go on and on!!
They have “BREWERY TOURS” Tours are $15. per person A 45-minute guided tour providing an up-close glimpse of their brew house, cellar and packaging line. The tour ends with a tasting of their flagship beers, a token for a full beer (or Island Root Beer), and a souvenir glass for you to keep!
