The Pride of Maui is a beautiful 65 foot Maxi Power Catamaran that was built specifically for the Hawaiian waters. It is the most spacious and stable catamaran on Maui.
The Pride has a snorkeling trip which goes out each morning and then on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday they do a Sunset Cruise. I just recently went out on their Sunset Grill and Cocktail Party! What a fantastic evening we had! The Crew, the Boat, the Music and the Food were all fantastic!
This is not a dinner cruise but they have just as much food or more than what the dinner cruises offer! They start you off with a beautiful veggie tray and unique cheeses and crackers. The Premium Bar is open as soon as you leave the harbor. You will be surprised to see what great fun drinks the bartenders can make!
After watching the breathtaking sun sink into the ocean you can enjoy a variety of freshly prepared, premium chef-inspired dishes: Maui Onion Tartlets, Roasted Vegetables, an Artichoke Dip made with fresh garlic and Parmesan, fresh Boil Shrimp, chilled and served with a variety of dipping sauces, Baby Back Ribs that are to die for, and Honey Ginger Glazed Chicken… and then there is desert! All the while, the bar is open! The food and drinks are so yummy!
It is a plus to go on this boat during the Whale Season (Dec -April) as you don’t have to stay seated, so you can walk around and check out the whales and sunset.
I totally enjoyed my evening on the Pride of Maui Sunset Grill.
