The Sunrise Journey is the most popular bicycle tour and has very limited capacity due to new park regulations.

Your Maui bike tour begins with hotel pick-up and a van tour to the Summit of Haleakala. Your Haleakala bike tour guides will provide bikers with a history of Haleakala, its geology and an explanation of rare plants and animals found only on Maui.
Upon arrival at the 'House of the Sun' Visitors Center, bikers will be escorted to the rim of the Crater and view into the one of the worlds largest volcanoes.
This sunrise bike tour proceeds to the 6,500 foot level of Haleakala, where bikers will begin their 28-mile bike ride down the slopes of Haleakala's Volcano.

There will be a No-Host lunch stop at one of the popular restaurants on the way down Haleakala volcano.

Tour stops at Sunrise Market and Protea Farm for a NO-HOST lunch. The ride of a lifetime continues down through Kula, Makawao, Hailiimaile and to the Pacific Ocean ending at Paia Beach Park. We include round trip transportation from your Hotel, continental breakfast en route to the launching point, Columbia Sportswear windbreaker pants and jacket, gloves, helmet and state of the art volcano chrome cruiser bikes.

The Self-guided Haleakala Bike tours are longer than any other unguided bike tour on Maui (28 miles).

Following your tour of the 'House of the Sun' Visitor Center and Haleakala Visitor Center you will bike from 6,500 feet elevation and end at Paia Bay Beach Park in the quaint litle Coastal town of Paia.

Clients meet our Maui biking tour guides at Starbucks Coffee in the Maui Market Place (Kahului) at 7:00 a.m. Transportation to the summit, a continental breakfast (coffee & pastries) served en route to the summit of Mt. Haleakala.

upon completion of your bike ride, shuttle service back to Starbucks Coffee will be provided. Departure times from Paia Beach Park are 1:30pm, 2:00pm, and 2:30pm.
